Greville Street

Hatton Garden (EC1) Derives its name from Fulke Greville, Lord Brooke, the accomplished poet and courtier in the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I, as well as the intimate friend of Sir Philip Sidney. Brooke House stood on the immediate site of Brooke Street and Greville Street. (Reference: Jesse's London, vol. III, p. 87)
