A review of Joy by Anonymous written on Monday 15th of December 2008
I have lived in Hackney for 5 years now and watched Broadway Market change from a quiet enclave, frequented mostly by locals, to the bustling street it has now become. I had never really paid much attention to Joy as we use another Indian restaurant near Bethnal Green for takeaways. On a friends recommendation I booked a table for 18 of us last weekend. The staff were very accomodating, especially as we were such a large number and despite the food taking a little while to get to the table it all arrived at the same time so that we could enjoy it together. My butter chicken was delicious, as was the rest of the food and it was incredibly reasonable. Will definitely go back. .
