I had had problems with a multipoint water heater for the last 12 months. The water it produced was little more than tepid. After a while, I called out an organisation (for legal reasons I will simply call them "B****sh G*s") who did not attempt to properly diagnose the problem but advised me that I'd have to spend £3,000 on a new appliance. I was reluctant to accept this, as the BG engineer had not even taken the cover off the appliance before reaching this conclusion.

However! I contacted JR Plumbing, whose engineer turned up promptly today and was thoroughly professional. He identified the problem, explained it to me, and fitted a replacement part to the existing appliance. Problem solved: I now have piping hot water. The total cost for the work - call-out, the cost of the part, plus VAT - was under £100, which I think is a reasonable charge.

JR Plumbing are friendly, trustworthy & competent. I'd recommend them to anyone.
