I totally agree. It seems that if you haven't phoned between 8:00 and 8:01am (and managed to get through) there is absolutely no chance of getting a same day appointment. The receptionists offer no apology for this and give you the impression from their tone they have better things to do.

Whilst I appreciate the practice covers a wide area it is not always possible to pre-book illness. .
