A review of Sitar Indian Restaurant by Josh Rogan written on Wednesday 3rd of September 2008
I attended this establishment with a few of the boys to round off a most agreeable evening of poker and port. The service was impeccable and the food excellently presented and prepared. Being a fan of Western Indian food I took the lamb dhansak which was I have to say one of the finest I have eaten (and this is from someone who lived for fourteen years in Gujarat!) My accomplices were similarly delighted with their dishes several of whom took the Chicken Tikka Massala and delighted in its credentials. None of us ever felt a moment of anxiousness, except when one of our party (the diva, Leftfordd) swooned after ingesting a particularly hot capsicum and face planted into his King Prawn Bhuna, the miscreant..
