A review of Henry's Cafe Bar by S. emmie s. written on Tuesday 19th of August 2008
Henry's is a place I have heard about then and now throughout my three years in LOndon, but unfortunately I never actually ended up going there. So, me and my friends decided to finally get our act together and pay the Piccadilly branch of the chain a visit, and what a great idea that was! We had a calm afternoon lunch at about 3pm, very friendly and attentative staff who seemed to disappear until the very moment we actually wanted something and then they seemed to know before we did! I hardly had to lift my eyes to look for them; they were there to serve straigh away but were never in the way.
The food was good, there are a bit much to choose from, but I guess thats a positive thing if you are picky:) I had a curry and my friends fish and chips and hamburgers. They were satisfyed and happy, and when the coffee came we all knew it had been a succesful lunch.
We ended up staying until late (well, 9pm is quite late if you get here at 3) and will definately go back soon again.
