A review of Windermere Hotel by Unwelcome written on Tuesday 1st of July 2008
Having been to The Windermere on several different weekend and weekday nights, i felt rather unwelcome! The same 3 people rotated to serve me and not 1 could remember my drink or even give a quick (if even fake) smile and Hello.
The decor is typical for a pub of that age, and no offence to the pub owners, i can't see it changing in the next 10 years, but why should they?? People moan about it and the wonderful ancient screens yet still srink in there!!!!
I will say that better usage of the garden for the smokers and non smokers would draw a much bigger crowd, It is a unique and lucky pub to have such room outside.
