A review of Bridport Storefitters Ltd by John Postlethwaite written on Thursday 1st of May 2008
Bridport Store fitters, completed a major restoration of the main entrance to the Foreign Office at King Charles Street and new visitor reception area to designs by London architects Hosker Moore & Kent now Hosker Moore Kent Melia and Structural Engineers Cambell Rieth Hill.
The project was a great success. Bridport won this challanging contract by competative tender.
Although the public can easily see the improvements to the main entrance arches, by far the greatest challenges were found in building the receptionarea located in the basement vaults of the building directly under several floors of magnificent offices with marble columns and plaster friezes that might easily have been disturbed.
The project was completed on-time and on-budget, Bridport brough first-class project planning and building skills, worked extremely well on-site with only partial possession - there were no staff issues and manufactured all purpose made installtions at their own workshops at their Barber's Road factory.
The new reception was opened on 24 April 2002 by the then Foreign Secretary Rt Hon Jack Straw MP.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
