A review of The Plough Inn by Vic marsland written on Thursday 24th of April 2008
I like the plough. The surroundings are clean and pleasant, with a large and well upkept garden. The food, however leaves a lot to be desired. It is not far off gastro pub prices for the specials and the portions are small. On two seperate occassions we have had to send food back.Once the risotto(Thick, stodgy and tasteless) and secondly the Moussaka (Burnt underneath). Its a shame as the pub itself is nice and the staff are always friendly and accomodating. My advice is tpo go there for drinks and the social atmosphere rather than the food..
