We lost our local post office about 18 months ago, maybe longer. This is a direct result of being a member of the EU and the EU Directive on postal services, (making it illegal for government to subsidise the post office). Until the media start telling the British public the truth nothing will change and we will not be able to have small post offices serving the local community..
