This restaurant is not for you if you have any children in your party and really you should get this very quickly when you discover there is no children's menu and all your questions asked about adapting the adult menu is ignored.
Service was indifferent and at times at break-neck speed. I.E., you could ask for something and have to repeat the request 3 times and then have it brought to you in a surly manner or you have a plate you have barely finished whisked away from you.
The food that we ordered was of cafe standard, the spaghetti vongole was a lump of overcooked pasta drenched in a toamto sauce flavoured with a stock cube and peppered with tinned clams.
The risotto was a glutinous mass of rice which had had a very sketchy relationship with the crab it purported to contain and on, and on.. We were never asked why we had left practically all of our food. Customer satisafction was not on the menu.
We left without the customary pudding or coffee as by then the rather hostile atmosphere was unpleasant. When attemting to explain how our evening, a family celebration for our 6 year old's birthday, had been spoiled by rude and off-hand service, we were met with a shrug of the shoulders. Well, what could we expect? We had paid the extortionate bill by then, releasing a table, what did they care?
