"They Cancel your bookings in preference of parties."

Having booked a special, suprise, birthday meal for my father, at his favourite restaraunt, 2 weeks in advance, I received a call cancelling my reservation as they were "hosting and event". This was done leaving me with only 3 days to find an alternative. We have used the Bombay Brasserie religiously over the past years, and always found the food to excellent.

I have no doubt that this review wil be removed, but it is best to have an alternative in mind just incase your meager 5 person booking, is trampled in the stampede to secure a more lucrative restaraunt sell out.

I understand the business logic of cancelling the few to service the many, as this will turn over more cash in a short space of time. What I cannot forgive is the short unappologetic voice mail left without the offer of an alternative date.

No great for customer service. .
