A review of Montague Pyke by Femal anon written on Sunday 24th of February 2008
Got to this bar to watch 6 nations on Sat, Wales as playing first, not that you would know walking into this place. It has one of the largest screens around, but when we asked the staff to turn the volume up we were told no due to the customers eating there food as it may disturb them. When we argued that there was no atmosphere without the volume we were told to go watch the games elsewhere. Due to having a large group of people already there and most of them waiting on there food we stayed for the 3 games. The Ireland game started and still they did not turn the volume up. Come the England game however surprise surprise the volume went up
I do not recommend going to watch any games at this pub.
