"Great cuts but unreliable pricing"

I used this salon for about a year.

The hair cuts I got were fantastic. The stylists there did a perfect job and always gave me cuts that suited me.

The colourists were good too. We settled on a colour that was good for me, and it was all going swimmingly until I re-booked an appointment and was allocated a new stylist, of the same level as the previous one.

She was a little over-talkative and overcharged me £12 the first time I used her.

The ridiculously haughty receptionist looked me up and down when I queried the price, so that I just paid it. Their pricing is always unpredictable, you never know whether they are charging for drying the hair as well, and it seems to be in very bad taste to complain.

Then, the next time I went, I got the same stylist and she overcharged me again. My receipt distincty showed I had been charged for a different service than the one I had received.

It is simply unacceptable for them to quote prices and then charge whatever they feel like at the time.

They need a transparent pricing structure- I am ok to pay the quoted £53 for regrowth, but find that being charged £65 every month without explanation is too much! I have been using a new hairdresser for 6 months now and always knwo exactly how much I will pay.
