A review of The Plough by Dave Robins written on Friday 10th of November 2006
Just north of Heathrow Airport lies the pretty little village of Sipson which is scheduled for demolition should the projected third runway ever happen. On the northern edge of the village, nestling in front of the "Holiday Inn",is the picturesque "Plough"pub;a relatively small but comfortable hostelry. The beer quality has improved enormously since new management took over the pub earlier in the year, the food is excellent(served between 12-3 and 6-9.30) and the service is always prompt and friendly. There's also a decent sized car park to the side of the pub.Much of the clientele consists of people staying over at the "Holiday Inn" and it's certainly worth a visit if you're in the area.I,for one, would regard it as a real tragedy if this pub ever had to be knocked own..
