The hotel has now changed hands and is cleaner and fresher than previously. The staff were attentive and very helpful. breakfast is no more but with many excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, that was not a problem.

They provide shampoo and shower gel now also, which is a nice touch.

The hotel still exudes faded gentry but the rooms are generous and the views from the front windows , lookiong over the tennis courts and park area, hard to beat..
