A review of Simpsons by Disgruntled Customer written on Thursday 10th of January 2008
After working in Teddington for many years, we got to know Simpsons sandwich shop pretty well. Every day lunch wasn't complete without a trip down the high street for their deliciously over-filled sandwiches. We were met by smiles and chit chat, and on occasion a free mince pie!
Oh how the mighty have fallen! Under new management, the staff are unfriendly, rude at times and their sandwiches are on the skinny side. How we long for the good old days! So great is my disappointment that it has caused me to write this review.
For a tastier jacket and salad, nip over the road to the Deli where their coleslaw is heavenly, and the potatoes fluffy and flavoursome. This marks a rather sad end to what was a delicious relationship. .
