Sorry to hear your panic over seeing live bedbugs a day after the treatment.

I have been in pest control for a lot of years and now specialise in bedbugs.The first thing i tell clients is this,THERE ARE NO QUICK INSTANT CURES no matter what anyone thinks or tells you.If it was as easy as a quick spray then all is well the world would not have as much of a problem.

Fair enough i don't know what the person told yourself before and after treatment or how they carried it out but re-treats are sometimes required and yes they cost money..
