I was a school boy at the school in 1954, my teacher was a mr Rowe,he was a very stout man and very strict as all teachers were in those days.I remember I was playing cricket in the playground with other boys,I stood too close to the batsman and got a cricket bat in the face, my nose was broken and had time of from school.I had many a good time at the school..
