The London Mosque was founded in 1924 by the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. It was the first purpose-built mosque in UK and maintains a significant presence for the international community.
Somewhat overshadowed by the community's new Baitul Futuh mosque in nearby Morden - the largest in western Europe - the London Mosque (also known as Baitul Fazl) still provides the residence of the worldwide head of the community, a global satellite broadcast station (MTA International, Sky 787) and a free homeopathic dispensary for members..
