A review of Maggies Cafe & Restaurant by Malcolm written on Friday 9th of November 2007
If you have been away on holiday and you want something to remind you of good English/Irish cooking then Maggies is for you. When ever I and my wife have been abroad we always treat ourselves to a slapup meal at Maggies upon our return. Not only is the food well cooked and plentiful but very reasonably priced. Upon paying the bill on the first couple of visits I was convinced that I was being undercharged. The tea and coffee never stop flowing and the banter from staff and clientel is a delight. Make sure to ask for there special english mustard. If Maggies is still around when I retire then I will clear my kitchen and live at Maggies and be spoilt everyday, in fact I believe some of the customers have done just that. Nothing pretentious just good food at fair prices and an experience you will want to repeat again and again..
