A review of The Three Monkeys by Brian, Camberwell. written on Monday 5th of November 2007
I wasa in a group of four who visited this restaurant on a Friday evening recently. The space looks and feels nice and it had a busy atmosphere. But this did not reflect the reality. hey seemed to have enough staff on but I'm not sure what any of them were doing. They didn't seem to know either. Our order was taken promptly enough and everything seemed fine until we waited about half an hour for the wine to arrive. When we enquired we were told that they didn't have the one we'd picked and would we like to order another(why we had to wait to be told this is unclear). This new drinks order arrived pretty quickly. It was then almost another hour before our actual food came to the table and when it did we soon realised that we shouldn't have waited. It was mediocre at best in fact some of it was just bad with sauces tasting like they had come straight out of tins. Really not a good experience..
