A review of Crystal Palace Antiques Warehouse by Benboadams written on Wednesday 25th of October 2006
Very surprised to find this place after not even noticing it for the five years that I've lived in the area! But what a find! Despite the 'lovejoy' style slightly dated signage on the front of this former victorian factory building, this place offers an amazing range of stuff ranging from 17th century pieces to classic mid centuary modern and even amazing seventies pieces sourced from europe. There's four floors of it, with different dealers, so one can easily spend a lost and enjoyable day out there, whatever your style. Easily on a par with more well known places such as camden stables market, but with much more resonable prices. I've bought anything and everything there from an ashtray to a sideboard, from a mirror to a table and chairs. Theres workshops with restoration services avalible too. Becoming a big hit with the new crystal palace 'proffesional' set, but it's most definetly worth the effort of a trip for those from further a field...you wont come back emty handed!.
