I used to work for Jas UK in South Africa. My boss was Beaudry Duffin and although we had a small team of staff we shifted freight at a pretty good rate.

Fresh out of the UK and with some freight experience I found it fascinating to send goods all over the world, both sea and air. We dealt with many areas of conflict and a lot of freight had to be sent on devious routes in order to reach it's destination.

I had to return from South Africa due to family ill-health some 13 years ago but I still remember my days with Jas at Bedfordview and Kempton Park.

I am now retired and living in Suffolk in a little village doing family history research, continuing an interest that first came about looking for Beaudry's family connections. I have since found out more and would appreciate being put in touch with either Beaudry or Annette Fingland, who was his right hand secretary.
