A review of Belgrave House Hotel by Mr. B. written on Saturday 23rd of June 2007
We made reservations online in January 07 for May 07.
After reading some questionable reviews, we were a bit apprehensive about staying here.
My wife and I stayed in one room and a friend stayed in another room. We stayed for two weeks last month
(May 2007).The rooms were very small and the furnishings were sparse. The staff were helpful when they could be (but we could not get an extra blanket).
The rooms were reasonably quiet and seemed secure enough.we found things to be as advertised-cereal and toast for breakfast-24 hour coffee and microwave and refrigerator.
The prices advertised on the outside of the hotel when we arrived seemed to be cheaper than the ones we paid for in advance. The biggest expense for this trip was lodging, this inexpensive hotel really helped our budget. The location could not be improved. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends especially experienced travellers who are not looking for luxury.
