A review of St Georges Hotel by JD written on Thursday 21st of June 2007
We stayed here in 2005 and it was great- the young fellow at the front desk was great- we got the same trays but they had plenty of food we could take away for our walks around the city. It was not mouldy and it was quite cleana nd beds were made everyday. The only issue was that you had to shower by 10am and the hot water was off and then again between 6 and 10pm-- but for the most part we were out all day and it was not a big isue- for the price of $50/night cdn it was a great deala nd we had 3 peopel to our room and the room had 2 double beds and a twin perfect for eveyone to have their own bed- you're high up enought aht you don't ahve to worry about windows not closing and the sheets and bedspread were fine. i am a simple person so it was great for our group and very conveniently located in safe area. we had young and old couples..
