A review of Putney Vale by Dr. Ernst Troyan written on Thursday 17th of May 2007
It is not a secret that the grave of Alexander Kerensky (1881-1970) is in Putney Vale.
The last prime-minister of the free Russia is burried in the same jurisdiction where Constantine the Great was proclamimed the Roman Emperor in 306 AD.
As the leader of the real democracy of February 1917, Kerensky is hated in the Post-Communist Russia (as well as during the authoritarian Communist regime).
Reburial of the former heroes is a fashion in the present-day Russia and the same is discussed concerning Kerensky.
And nobody has asked his relatives and friends.
Of course, the political actors in Moscow are looking to utilize the remainings of Kerensky as a mere farce.
For this reason we appeals to all good-willing people and the administration of the Cemetry to save the historic grave of Alexander Kerensky and prevent his reburial .
Sincerely yours,
Museum of Alexander Kerensky (2nd fl., 145 St.John)
