"Glymiel Jelly"

I remember Glymiel Jelly in the 50s. It was brilliant on chapped hands. My mum used to put it on me in the winter when my hands were sore with the cold. It had such an amazing smell that I always wanted some on my hands, chapped or not. Needless to say, my mum wouldn’t let me have it because it cost too much money for her to be wasteful with it. There were 3 of us girls and herself who had to share it between us although I suspect that my mum gave it to us and didn’t look after her own hands. I would love to see it back on the shelves again. A lot of the old discontinued products were best. Eg Germoline in a tin. Great product and another gorgeous smell..
