"Lifelong respect"

A review of Sudbourne Primary School by Judy written on Monday 10th of October 2022

I attended Sudbourne Junior Mixed from 1956 to 1960. The head was Mr Devereux and my teacher was Mr Allen. We had utmost respect for them as they made learning fun and encouraged us all along the way. I think Mr Allen left in 1960 to teach at Dulwich ? I owe everything to those men, no other teachers came close ! We almost all passed the 11 plus so I know other pupils will have been grateful. I remember the walnut tree - the only tree in the asphalt playground. The tar used to melt on hot days ! Thanks Sudbourne !
