I went to this place to get passport photos on the 4th of May 1983. This is a professional service with a photographer and they’ve been doing 1 hour service for decades. When I found out this place still existed it encouraged me to look out the little cardboard folder that contained the passport photos. In fact the photos were so good I had enlargements made to give to my mum and other family members and by knowing the date I can order more copies. In addition, this service was the only way to get non standard photos in the days before machine-developed photo strips became acceptable. For years, Canada demanded that each passport photo had a signature strip left on the bottom of each photo..
