"Absolutely brilliant"

I hired Alfie (aka Mr Sketchum) for my 50th birthday party on 2nd December in Brighton. My experience could not have been further from that of the only other review here. From first emails exchanges he was responsive, engaging, full of good advice and above all very funny. On the night, over four hours he turned out brilliant picture after brilliant picture and was the acknowledged highlight of the party according to friends, family and colleagues. He was gently mocking of guests physical characteristics in a funny and warm way which is all part of the act. If you don't get that, then there isn't much point hiring a caricaturist. In summary I would wholeheartedly recommend Alfie - if you have the right approach (by which I mean if you come armed with a sense of humour and a willingness to be teased) he'd be a brilliant addition to any event..
