I purchased two framed sets of Players Cigarette cards of movie stars. The person who had put them together was a Real Artist. She/He alternated the columns--male/female/ and had the stars on the left look toward the center and the stars on the right look to the left, focusing the viewer's attention to the center. Such conscientious effort is seldom seen these days, certainly in the U.S. where I live. The day I purchased those frames was one of the luckiest days of my life..
