A review of Iberia Airlines by Philip Thorndyke written on Friday 22nd of May 2015
Massive delay on recent flight, which we were not told about when we checked in before we went airside. So we could have easily had a trip into Madrid. The staff must have known & should have told us. We only found out when our flight was not on the departures board! Then when we went to get more information, we were offered a free lunch. The staff member sent us in completely the wrong direction, when in fact the restaurant was 30 yds away! It turned out to be the crummiest restaurant in the airport serving corresponding food! Then, later when we went to try to get some firm information regarding the delay, a young man slouched in his chair hands in pockets, told us the aircraft had broken down and that it happened all the time, in a totally dismissive manner. Passengers are such a nuisance aren't they. Flight attendants were not at all attendant. Worst European airline I have flown with, even Ryanair are better..
