Balham has been through an uncontrollable change over 30 years. It has metamorphosised into the southern hub of London. The people have changed but this CIU had remained.

It has changed with the times and still remains a bastion of civility in an area which has gone through massive change.

All around it are the most current trends of bars and eateries fighting for attention from the Balham throng. When I believe, that all we want is a comfortable place to spend an hour in a "cheers" like atmosphere to wind down before we have to do the same again in the morrow.

This place is an unknown treasure waiting for new people's to find it. Happy hunting!.
