"All Tyred up at VW Citygate Colindale "

Purchased used VW car from this VW dealership and when I picked it up and had left the lot noticed that 3 out of the 4 tyres had the incorrect / not the VW recommended specified speed and load bearings

Had to fight with dealership and get VW UK head office involved to get the correct tyres for the car as the ones they had supplied would have negated my car insurance if I had got into an accident.

Finally got them to put 4 new tyres with the correct ratings but 2 days later after when I went for a drive I noticed when I was travelling at more than 50mph the car vibrated.

Went to National tyre who I asked to check the balance of the tyres and they informed me every one of the tyres was incorrectly balanced as if when VW put the new tyres on they did not bother to balance them.

So much for their 142 point safety inspection !!!

I will not go back or recommend this dealership to anyone

I am going to contact VW UK customer care again and inform them of this and hope to get the cost of having my tyres rebalanced reimbursed
