"Incompetence"

A review of Wrottesley Road Surgery by Mr S Tricker written on Friday 25th of April 2014

About 6 week ago I had a chest x-ray at C.M,H.and was told to phone the surgery in a couple of days for my results.

I have phoned as requested { at 5p minute I might add ) and guess what? yes your right, held in a queu. This went on for a couple of days and in the end I went to the surgery to find my results.

I was informed by the very miserable receptionist that only a doctor could give me my results. I then requestsd a call back and was told that you have to phone on the morning of the requested call back ?

I then asked the receptionist if she would ask the doctor to call me back the next day with my results ?

She then replied that you have to phone on the morning for the doctor to call you.

I then requested an appointment to see the doctor which was 2 weeks later ( you couldn't make it up could you ? )

When I arrived for my appointment I asked the receptionist ( this was another miserable looking one ) was the doctor running on time ) as I only want my results ? No she's running half hour late but looking at my file on the computer she informed me that my reults were clear. Yes you guessed it the first receptionist could have told me that two weeks prior.

I then said to the receptionist now that I have my results to cancel this appointment and give it to someone else, which she did. Two days later I recieve a text on my phone telling me that an appointment has been made for me the following day.

When arriving at the surgery another receptionist who by the way wasn't so miserable looking said that I didn't have an appointment and the text shouldn't have been sent.

The moral of this story is that next time that i want to see a doctor I'm going to call the night doctor out or go to A & E.

P S I have never known such incompetence when dealing with as Jeremy Hunt says a careing N.H.S..
