"3 call outs for 1 problem"

My property management company used Franchi to repair the front door yale lock.

During the first visit, the yale lock was replaced and the lip (to pull the door with) was removed. I do not know why the locksmith decided to modify the lock, especially as removing the lip meant the key had to be used (in the lock) to pull the door open.

This put strain on the lock and it did not last long before it broke and so the locksmith got called out again and installed a handle.

As it is a leashold flat and changes are never approved the locksmith got called out again to remove the handle.

By this time I had realised the lip had been removed and had to ask them to replace the lip.

The locksmith warned me that this woudl break the lock again!

However, there have been no further problems now the lip can be used to pull the door open, not straining the lock.

Unluckily, I have paid for 3 call outs for the locksmith to do what should have been done in 1 visit..
