A review of Cathay Pacific Airlines by Richard Winstanley written on Monday 11th of November 2013
I have been waiting on the telephone line to get an urgent response for a concession to have my ticket in New Zealand extended by Cathay Pacific I cannot fly because of a seriously ill relative. All other Airlines I have flown with have at least a 6 month time span on tickets some have 12 months but for some curious reason when I tried to extend it they said it was only valid for 3 months. What difference it makes when the planes are always full between Auckland HK and Heathrow I have no idea.
No reply at all just an answer phone message saying they will answer ASAP. Then I get cut off again!!! Eventually after 2 hours waiting I can't get any info from main HK office because they haven't had a reply from London. How crazy that a simple request cannot be dealt with in a more reasonable manner in a reasonable time frame. RDW.
