"Incompadent"

I had high expectations for Westside, great area, small local buisiness and they make all the right noises when on the phone....However my experience has been disapointing and here is why.

I have a pet that has a complex condition and when joining Westside I explained that there was a lot of paperwork giving the history and I would ensure my previous vet faxed all info over for Westside so that when we booked our first appointment they would have a good insight into the issues they would be dealing with. I turned up for my first appointment went in to see the vet who asked the junior for the notes and then sat there and began reading them!!!! I stood there for a good 10 minutes before they even looked up,just to add to this I took along my other pet so they could meet her and my pet would be familier with the new setting when they needed to see a vet, the vet did not acknowledgge my second pet at any point. They had not ordered any of the medication needed and hence there was now going to be a delay. The next experience was just as disapointing as I had ordered more meds and when they arrived they where in a high dosage which meant I had to chop tabs into 3 !! this is not a easy feat. Now 6 months on its blood test time, I rang them 4 days prior to appointment to remind them of medication and dosage..today off we go I leave my pet and collect her 2 hrs later , ask for the meds and they only have half the amount my pet needs so now I have to return again to collect the other half, I was told "must have been a miscommunication" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh then they have the cheek to charge £5 to sign an insurance form which I have never heard of any other vet doing as they are making a fortune as it is. I will not be returning there and thats the upside to my experience..
