A review of The Plough by Lynn and nick stone written on Friday 20th of April 2012
Having booked a night before holiday stay at the Holiday Inn, were delighted to see this little gem at the end of the hotel driveway. Went down about 7pm and had one of the best meals we had had in a long time, could see the food being prepared in the kitchen and the menu had an appeal to everyone.
I had the home made curry - the pub appears to be owned and run by Indian staff - which was first rate, the home made steak pie with veg and hubbies gammon steak were great portion sizes and kept us going right through to lunch next day.
Several real ales were on offer and the bottle of wine we had was a great price for where we were.
Will go again..
