A review of Mad Andy's Game Station by Nick written on Monday 16th of April 2012
Its a bit late in the day to be reviewing MadAndy's but suffice to say I loved it from the days in Richmond market to hidden away by the comic shop and then to Teddington.
I bought my first SNES from there a PS1, tons of games for the N64 and then Xbox. I was gutted to drive by the Teddington location a while back and see you'd shut up shop.
I was reminded of your shops when Eurogamer published this article. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-04-13-why-the-magic-of-independent-stores-should-never-be-lost and decided to brush off the old N64 for some retro fun when I saw the MadAndys sticker on my copy of WaveRace 64 (awesome game).
Andy, best of luck with whatever it is you're up to nowadays, you really provided a highlight of my gaming career.
Nick.
