A review of The Football Association by Liverpool fan written on Monday 2nd of April 2012
After watching the Newcastle v Liverpool game on Sunday I was mortified to think that Reina had headbutted Perch in such a manner that Perch was writhing around on the floor in agony. Naturally Reina was sent off but why was Perch only shown a yellow card for instigating Reina's behaviour by tripping him up and WHY has Perch not been penalised for perverting the course of justice by writhing around on the floor in agony when, according to the BBC Sport website, there was actually no contact? He should not be allowed to get away with influencing the Referee's decision in such a way. Now Reina has to miss the FA Cup tie as part of his three game ban. I do not condone Reina's behaviour but neither do I agree with Perch's behaviour and think he should be punished too. .
