A review of Holiday Inn by Judy Crook written on Saturday 4th of February 2012
Stayed at The Holiday Inn next to Edinburgh Zoo, opened the window in the morning to hear the monkeys chatting to each other, it was wonderful. Spotless rooms, wonderful meals, the kippers at breakfast cooked to order were heaven. Hamish the restaurant manager was divine. Entertainment at the hotel on Saturday night was fun. Wonderful, helpful staff throughout and Sunday morning spent in the Spa. The most perfect weekend break that left us all chilled and refreshed. We will be returning in October, hopefully the Pandas next door will not have colic. So much to do in Edinburgh that we have to come back to see it all, and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. We dropped our bags off before we checked in, went to the Castle, checked out and went to the Zoo, then collected them before our flight home. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all the staff at Holiday Inn, Edingburgh.
