East Finchley Constitutional Club is a great place for a pint and has a wonderful 100 year old atmosphere. Not easy to find (head north past East Finchley Sorting Office on Market Place and keep going on the footpath) but makes it feel quite special once you're in there. Two full size snooker tables in their own two rooms and ancient club memorabilia on the walls. The local campaign against parking permit increases held a fundraising night there and it was packed out. JOIN! 0208 883 3134..
