I stayed at the Oakley hotel in the fall of 2011 . the dated atmosphere and the friendly staff made me feel I had returned to a bygone era .

THe price I paid was a mere bagatelle compared to other hotels so well situated for all the attractions of chelsea and the kings road .on the door step.

The breakfast was as good as I've eaten in England and although the place could do with a lick of paint here and there itt was more than compensated for by the money I saved for the location .
