A review of The Golden Shalimar by Fred written on Sunday 24th of September 2006
The golden shalimar is a small, but clean restaurant.
The service is very professionnal, and dishes quite good, but :
- 2 biriani dishes
- 2 cheese nans
- 1 bottle of water
- 1 tea
- 1 expresso
will cost you up 47 Pounds.... The Golden Shalimar is not a luxuous place, but a very expensive restaurant... (13 pounds for the bottle of water, 5.5 for the Expresso...what a surprise on the bill ! Be very careful about the tarives)...
Of course, you won't be proposed the 7.95 pounds dishes displayed on the front of the restaurant....
Won't go back there... I prefer eating a good pizza at ask, also in spring street. The service there is simply perfect, and prices reasonnable..
