A review of Thirst Bar by Tracy Richardson written on Tuesday 14th of June 2011
I went to Thirst on Saturday night expecting it to be another westend venue, charging silly drinks prices with poor music... Actually I was so wrong.
We arrived to a lively atmosphere where bartenders were making superb cocktails from fresh using real ingredients. I was with 3 girlfriends so we all started on the cocktails early and they were very well priced too. After a few we popped downstairs to a busy but comfortable dancefloor for a boogie.
The DJ was on form and although the sign said no requests the guy djing did'nt need any as he was playing a mixture of new and old music which really worked.
We were supposed to catch the last train home but decided to stay as we were having so much fun when the end of the night came the DJ was applauded by the crowd and he deserved it.
It was easy to get a cab home from the venue and it was not too badly priced split between four of us.
Me and the girls we be here again this month as we are already planning another visit.
Good Times :-)
