A review of The Fire Stables by Sean written on Monday 5th of March 2007
Simply the worst food I have had in a restaurant for a long time with not much better service, and I am not one of those people who expects the earth.
Where do I start ?
The menu was limited (granted 2 of us were "raving" veggies.)
The portions were very small (and expensive). The Sunday roast is served in a bowl. The burger was raw and the spaghetti fish bowl was just that .... just cooked spaghetti and bits of fish.
I'd go as far as to say that not even their coffee was up to scratch.
If place won an award back in 2001 ..... seems about the same time Rubik’s cube was around.
Thankfully I was able to stop at Tesco on the way home for a sandwich.
I'm sorry but I can honestly say I would never eat here again.
