A review of Capriccio by Jo written on Tuesday 14th of December 2010
We've just come back from Capriccio and wished we had stayed home. The owner/head waiter seemed too preoccupied with one particular table, so much so that we were pretty much ignored. We told him we were ready to order (we were very hungry) and he continued fussing over the other table of four, attending to their every whim. In the meantime, we were left to wait for ages, I had to remind him a couple of times that we were ready to order. My starter - bruchetta, was thoroughly disappointing - piled high with mushrooms, it was far too salty. On serving our mains, we were asked if we wanted pepper, we said yes (politely) and never saw the waiter again!
We spent £50 for two of us and were left fuming. We are never going back. It's the worst restaurant in Temple Fortune, avoid at all costs!.
