A review of Malta Tourist Office by Penny written on Sunday 10th of October 2010
I agree with you - We have just come back from Malta last Tuesd. 5.10.10 - stayed at sunset Hotel Qawra, it was excellent ( we have been to Malta many times) but on the last day, we got conned into visiting the Hotel riza(just 3 mins away from the sunset)by a guy called steve (with a maltese wife called Rosa) just to look at their Hotel and perhaps go there next time we visit. As soon as we stepped inside we were put through a hard sales pitch similar to timeshare. the name was club access 2 leisure. As we were polite people we did not walk out right away, also they took a long time getting to the bottom line as to what they were selling. They were con people who would not take no for an answer. They target older people - the Maltese Tourist Board should take action against them, they are ruining Malta. it tood us 2 hours before we could get away from them.
regards .
